For our USBCAN-2A/2C, CANalyst-II Analyzer and other CAN adapter products, the driver can be installed normally on most XP systems and will appear in the device manager.
WinUSB Device. some xp systems fail to install, show an unknown device in the device manager or show an exclamation mark next to the WinUSB Device driver, which can't be used normally.
If you encounter a situation where the driver cannot be installed properly, you will need to completely uninstall the driver you have just installed and then reinstall it manually.
Procedure:
1. In the Device Manager, locate the WinUSB device. Click to uninstall.
2.Delete the driver completely: search in the folder C:\WINDOWS\inf, which contains the text: VID_04D8&PID_0053, delete the file found, this file is a born driver file.
3. Reconnect the USB device. The driver installation wizard will appear as shown above. At this time, for the unknown USB device. Pop-up installation interface, not pop-up installation interface can manually right-click the device, select Update Driver.
Select "Install from list or specified location (advanced)" and select the directory where the driver is located (the driver is located in the [Hardware Drivers] directory in the CD-ROM directory).
Note: Only (and only) the inf folder needs to be selected.
After determining click on the next step, the process will be prompted to confirm the installation of the driver, point to confirm the detection. The driver will now be installed.
Select "Install from list or specified location (advanced)" and select the directory where the driver is located (the driver is located in the [Hardware Drivers] directory in the CD-ROM directory).
